Why are the immigrants here?

That is an easy answer, to work and make it better for they're families. The real question is where do they call home.
I have been in construction for many years and have seen many changes. The biggest change has been the near total takeover of the construction workforce by immigrants, illegal and legal. I have also seen the company that I work for suffer because my company cannot compete with the other companies that use illegal immigrants , paying them a sub standard wage. I have also seen the quality of work decrease not to mention the safety concerns that I witness on a daily basis.
That being said, what are the end goals of these immigrants? Money is the main motivation. They send upwards of 50% back to Mexico. Why? Because a great number of them have no intentions of calling this country home. They have no allegiance to this country and do not want to fit into this country. I have talked to many, many that want to make a lot of money and go back to there place of origin.
Well, I can't say I blame anybody for wanting to make a living to support them and there families. That is the right thing to do but it is out of hand in this country and it is our fault.
This is a nation of laws and without them would cause chaos. The sad thing is that the laws we have, already cover many of the issues at hand. These immigration laws have been ignored for years. Perhaps it is the past amnesties we have granted that make people think they can come over anytime they want and hang out till the government has to give them legal status. Maybe so many have snuck in already that officials feel that there is nothing they can do now. There is no perfect solution but these are a few solutions I can think of.
Close the border first and foremost so we can sort out who's here and why.

Deport felons immediately after serving there sentence and deport known gang members.

Give the people that are left temporary work status for up to 2 years. No amnesty!!!!!

Pay a trespassing fine before legal status can be obtained.

No free health care and no free education. If you want to benefit then you help pay.

Have a legitimate and cost effective way to check documents such as social security.
drivers license and so forth.

Kill sanctuary cities by withholding federal funds from them if they invite illegals.

Offer some of these other countries incentives to better there own economies, ( yeah like
that would ever work)


These are just a few of the thoughts that come to mind but do NOT tell me they are here to be Americans cause most are not here for that.
